On October 5, at 12:38 information was received to Tavush Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred in Khashtarak village: the rescuers’ help was needed.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Departments of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that "VAZ" car (driver V. M. born in 1957) ran off the roadway (about 500 meters) and rolled over into the gorge in the "Karantsi Dzor" area of the village.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery and gas valve of the car, took V. M. out of the gorge on a stretcher and moved to the ambulance: the casualty was hospitalized in a medical center.
