On January 13, at 22:20 an emergency call was received to Shirak Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred in the beginning of Gyumri town: smoke was noticed from cars and there were casualties. The rescuers’ help was needed.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that “Kia” (driver H. H. born in 1992) and “Audi” (driver S. G., born in 1990) cars collided at the crossroads of Victory Avenue and Tigranyan Street in Gyumri town. There were no signs of fire.

The rescuers blocked off the area, disconnected the automotive batteries and closed the gas valves of the cars, pulled the passenger of “Kia” car O. M. (born in 1999) out of the car and moved to the ambulance, the latter was hospitalized in a medical center.
