On May 10, at 17:56 an emergency call was received to Kotayk Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred near the church in Getargel village: there were casualties.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department and the operative group from Center for Carrying out Activities of Special Importance of Rescue Forces Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

It turned out that the cars of the "VAZ" and "Opel" cars collided. "Opel" car ran off the roadway and appeared in a ravine. The rescuers disconcerted the automotive batteries and closed the gas valves of the cars, moved the drivers and the passenger of "VAZ" car to the ambulance. The casualties were hospitalized in a medical center.
