On January 6, at 13:52 an emergency call was received to Aragatsotn Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred and the car overturned near the Letters Park of monument in Artashavan village. 

The operative group and one fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

It turned out that "GAZelle" number 531 (driver D.M. born in 1965), "Opel" (driver S. T.) and "VAZ" brands (driver A. J.) cars had collided and appeared in the middle of the field near the Letters Park on the 14th km of Ashtarak-Aparan roadway. There were 10 casualties.

The rescuers pulled 2 casualties out of "GAZelle" car, the driver D. M. (born in 1965) and two passengers on stretchers to the ambulance, who were hospitalized in medical centers, then accompanied the casualty Sh. to the medical center.
