On January 1, at 18։47 an emergency call was received to Kotayk Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred near one of the restaurants in Arinj village: two cars collided and there were casualties. The rescuers’ help was needed.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that two "Mercedes-Benz" cars (drivers D. P. born in 1972 and Sh. H. born in 1951) collided. There were casualties.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive batteries and closed the gas valves of the cars and moved D. P., passengers of the same car A. P. (born in 1999) and V. L. (born in 1980) on a stretcher to the ambulance.

The casualties were hospitalized in a medical center. Sh. H. and passenger N. Kh. (born in 1956) were taken to a medical center by the local forces.
