On April 8, at 16:13 an emergency call was received to Lori Regional Operative Management Center that car accident had occurred on Jravazan Street in Alaverdi town.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

It turned out that "ZIL" truck ran off the roadway, crashed into the reinforced concrete pillars of the balcony of an apartment near a building, damaged the retaining wall of the adjacent house and appeared in the yard of a neighboring house.

The rescuers blocked off the area, disconnected the automotive battery and closed the gas valve of the truck, pulled the driver out of the cabin of the truck and moved to the ambulance. The driver was hospitalized.
