On April 17, at 13:49 an emergency call was received to Kotayk Regional Operative Management Center that a road traffic accident had occurred on Hrazdan–Charentsavan roadway:  cars had collided, one of which had rolled into a gorge.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that “Mercedes-Benz” and “BMW” cars had collided; the latter went off the roadway and crashed into trees.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery of the “BMW” car and moved the driver to the ambulance: the injured person was hospitalized.
