On August 17, at 22։54, the emergency call was received to 112 Operative Management Center of the MIA that three cars had collided on Gay Avenue of Yerevan city: there were casualties. The rescuers' help was needed.

One fire unit from the Special Water Rescue Squad of Yerevan Rescue Department, the rescue group from the Center for Carrying out Activities of Special Importance of the Rescue Forces Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

It turned out that “Renault”, “Nissan” and “Mercedes-Benz” cars collided.

The rescuers pulled the driver of "Renault" car out of the car and alongside two other casualties moved to the ambulances. The casualties were hospitalized.
