On July 19, at 06։19 an emergency call was received to Gegharkunik Regional Management Center that a car had fallen into the river near a restaurant complex on Yerevan-Sevan roadway.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad and the group from Special Water Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that "VAZ" car collided with a gas pipeline and fallen into the Hrazdan River.

The rescuers pulled the driver's dead body out of the river, then moved to the mortuary vehicle.

"VAZ" car was pulled out of the river using special equipment (crane).
