On September 16, at 16:06, an emergency call was received to Kotayk Regional Operative Management Center that a car accident with fire had occurred on Charentsavan-Hrazdan roadway.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that "Nissan" car ran off the roadway, crashed into a roadside sales kiosk and subsequently struck trees: there was one casualty and four victims.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery and closed the gas valve of the car, moved the dead bodies to the mortuary vehicle: there were no sign of fire as a result of inspection of the spot.
