On September 19, at 12։23 an emergency call was received to Syunik Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred at the crossroads of Shinuhayr village: the rescuers' help was needed.

One fire unit from Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that “VAZ” car and “Volvo” tanker truck collided at the crossroads of Shinuhayr village, as a result the driver of “VAZ” died on the spot.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the driver's dead body had been removed from the car by the local forces and the passenger had been moved to the ambulance: the latter was hospitalized at a medical center.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery and closed the gas valve of “VAZ” car.
