On October 19, at 12:30 information was received to Crisis Management National Center that car accident had occurred near Aghavnavank village of Tavush province: there were casualties.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that "VAZ" (driver D. G. born in 1971) and "Mercedes-Benz" (driver A. S. born in 1983) cars collided at the beginning of Teghut village.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the passengers of "Mercedes-Benz" car S. Y. (born in 1970) and H. Y. (born in 1966) had been taken to the medical center.

The rescuers moved the driver and passenger of  "VAZ" car (M. G. born in 1969) and the passenger of "Mercedes-Benz" car L. M. (born in 1984) to the ambulance: the casualties were hospitalized in a medical center.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive batteries and closed the gas valves of the cars.
