On April 8, at 15:59 an emergency call was received to Lori Regional Operative Management Center that car accident had occurred on Spitak-Vanadzor roadway.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

It turned out that “DAF” truck and “VAZ” car collided at the 7th km of Spitak-Vanadzor roadway. The driver and a passenger of the latter car died on the spot.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery of “VAZ” car.
