On June 16, at 20։57 an emergency call was received to Ararat Regional Operative Management Center that car accident had occurred at the 56th km of Yerevan-Meghri roadway.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Departments of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.  

It turned out that “Volvo” and “Mercedes-Benz” cars collided: the driver of “Mercedes-Benz” car died.

The rescuers pulled the dead body of the driver of “Mercedes-Benz” car out, moved four passengers to the ambulance: the casualties were hospitalized.
