On October 7, at 23:52 an emergency call was received to Aragatsotn Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred on Aparan-Kuchak roadway: there were casualties.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

It turned out that “ZIL” truck and “Mercedes-Benz” car collided at the 5th km of Aparan-Kuchak roadway. The truck overturned, the driver died on the spot and there was a gas leak.

The rescuers pulled the stuck driver out of “Mercedes-Benz” car and moved to the ambulance on a stretcher. The casualty was hospitalized at a medical center. The death of the passenger stuck in the car was recorded.

The rescuers blocked off the scene and closed the gas valve of the truck.
