On January 31, at 00։56 an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that car accident had occurred at the crossroads of Komitas Avenue and Papazyan Street in Yerevan: the rescuers' help was needed.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA was dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that “VAZ” and “Mercedes-Benz” cars collided.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, two casualties had been taken to a medical center.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery and closed the gas valve of “VAZ” car.
