On January 29, at 08։27 an emergency call was received to Lori Regional Crisis Management that car accident had occurred near Yerevan roadway in Vanadzor town: a citizen was stuck. The rescuers' help was needed.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA was dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that “Mercedes-Benz” and “Volkswagen” cars collided. The rescuers pulled the driver out of “Volkswagen”, moved to the ambulance, who was hospitalized at the medical center, then disconnected the automotive batteries and closed the gas valves of the cars.
