On August 26, at 16։35 an emergency call was received to Gegharkunik Regional Operative Management Center that car accident had occurred near Shoghakat settlement of Tsovagyugh-Vardenis roadway: there were casualties.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department, the rescue group from the Center for Carrying out Activities of Special Importance of the Rescue Forces Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

It turned out that “Tesla” and “Ford” cars collided at the 27th km of Tsovagyugh-Shoghakat-Vardenis roadway, as a result the latter overturned and “Tesla” car ran off roadway.

There were 9 casualties. The rescuers disconnected the automotive batteries of the cars and moved the casualty to ambulances. The latter were hospitalized.
