On July 11, at 20։11 an emergency call was received to Gegharkunik Regional Operative Management Center that car accident had occurred at the 14th km of Martuni-Vardenis roadwy: there were casualties.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that "Mazda" and "Opel" cars collided. 5 people were taken to the medical center with injuries of varying degrees.

The rescuers blocked off the scene, disconnected the automotive batteries of the cars and conducted washing actions on the road.
