On January 2, at 12։04 an emergency call was received to Ararat Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred near the bridge in Aygavan village on Yerevan-Yeraskh roadway: there was casualty. The rescuers' help was needed.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA was dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that “Opel” and “Toyota” cars collided at the 45th km of Yerevan-Yeraskh roadway.
Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, four casualties had been taken out of the car by the local forces and hospitalized to a medical center.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive batteries and closed the gas valves of the cars.
