On January 1, at 22։14 an emergency call was received to Kotayk Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred near the 5th km of Yeghvard-Yerevan roadway, two cars collided. The rescuers' help was needed.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA was dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that "VAZ" and "Honda" cars collided at the 5th km of Yeghvard-Yerevan roadway. Three casualties were hospitalized in a medical center. The rescuers disconnected the automotive batteries and closed the gas valves of the cars.
