By the order of the Director of RS - Deputy Minister of IA Kamo Tsutsulyan, the departments of the MIA Rescue Service continue to conduct service in emergency mode.

Interstate and community highways are frequently closed or become impassable due to heavy snowfall, blizzards and black ice.

The rescuers, in cooperation with other interested services, implement around the clock duty and patrolling in order to ensure the safety of the stuck citizens.

The rescuers also render assistance to citizens by providing food and warm clothing at the first aid support points on the most dangerous and difficult to pass roads.

From December 7 to 15, 51 cases of stuck vehicles due to weather conditions were recorded on problematic sections of the roads of the Republic. Totally, the rescuers pulled 168 stuck vehicles out and provided appropriate assistance to 326 citizens.

The rescuers provided all drivers with necessary assistance, while simultaneously transporting passengers to a safe area.
