By order of the Director of RS - Deputy Minister of IA Kamo Tsutsulyan, the departments of the Rescue Service were switched to enhanced service due to the deterioration of weather conditions.

The duty had established on a number of interstate highways throughout the Republic to provide assistance to drivers stranded due to heavy snowfall, blizzards and black ice and to ensure the safety of citizens. Temporary first aid bases were set up in the most problematic areas.
