Roofs damaged due to wind: Rescue Service units responded to the calls
On February 27, from 15։16 emergency calls were received to 112 Operative Management Center of the MIA that the roofs of unexploited buildings and houses had been damaged due to wind in Vardenis town of Gegharkunik province and Norashen village of Aragatsotn province.
The Rescue Service of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs promptly responded to the emergency calls by conducting investigations.
As a result of the studies, it turned out that the roofs of the first and second buildings of the unexploited industrial area (in total: about 300 square meters) were damaged in Vardenis town, the roofs of 7 houses, 3 barns and a solar power station of a building were damaged in Norashen village.
The rescuers dismantled dangerous hanging constructions in Norashen village.
On February 28, the activities continued in Geghadir, Norashen and Hnaberd villages in Aragatsotn province.
As a result of the studies conducted, it turned out that a total of 6 houses, 5 barns, 2 garages and the roofs of a school in the mentioned settlements were damaged.
The rescuers implemented dismantling and removal activities on the weakened constructions.
