On March 23, at 18:45, an emergency call was received to Syunik Regional Operative Management Center that a rockfall had occurred on Ltsen-Tatev roadway: the rescuers’ help was needed.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Departments of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.  

It turned out that a rockfall had occurred at the 37th kilometer of the Sisian-Ltsen-Tatev roadway, as a result of which the road had become passable in one direction only.

Rescuers closed off the area and, together with road maintenance staff, removed the fallen rocks from the roadway using special equipment. The traffic flaw ոաս restored.
