On September 11, at 21։48 an emergency call was received to Syunik Regional Crisis Management Center that rockfall had occurred in the middle of A. Manukyan Street in Kapan town: the rescuers' help was needed.

One fire unit from Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that a rockfall (about 1 cubic meter) occurred in an area of about 50 square meters, as a result the roadway was two-way closed. The rescuers used special equipment to remove the fallen rocks and clean the roadway. The traffic flow was restored.
