On September 24, personnel from Ashtarak Fire and Rescue Squad as a part of Aragatsotn Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MIA conducted man-made rockfall operations to ensure traffic safety along the road leading to the Kasakh Gorge.

Overhanging rock fragments on the slope adjacent to the road posed a risk of rockfalls and traffic risk.

The rescuers performed conducted man-made rockfall operations and removed the rock fragments in cooperation with staff from Ashtarak Municipality.

As a result of these rapid and preventive actions, the area was made safe for traffic flow.
