Rescuers implemented the man-made rock removal to ensure safe traffic flow on the roadway
On May 16, Ararat Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service RA MIA implemented the man-made rockfall removal activities on the 82nd km of Yerevan-Yeraskh roadway in order to ensure safe traffic flow of the roadway and reduce the risks of possible rockfalls.
During the activities, about 10 cubic meters of rock mass was removed from the dangerous section of the road in order to ensure the traffic flow safety.
The rescuers of the Fire and Rescue Squad of Ararat Regional Rescue Department , as well as the head and colleagues of the Medical Care Provision division participated in the activities. The employees of “Ararat-Chanshin” LLC were also involved in the activities.
The officers from the patrol service of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs were on duty at the scene, ensuring the safe organization of traffic flow.
