On February 2, at 16։11 an emergency call was received to Vayots Dzor Regional Crisis Management Center that rockfall had occurred on the 2nd km of Yerevan-Meghri roadway leading to Jermuk town, as a result the roadway was one-way closed: the rescuers' help was needed.

The operative group from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA was dispatched to the scene.

The rescuers alongside patrol officers, removed the stones from the roadway, eliminating the danger.
