On April 23, at 18։23 an emergency call was received to Vayots Dzor Regional Crisis Management Center that rockfall had occurred from a slope near Yeghegnadzor town on Yerevan-Meghri highway, which was impended traffic: the rescuers' help was needed.

The operative group from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

It turned out that a stone (about 0.6 cubic meters) rolled down the slope and appeared on the carriageway at the 122nd km of Yerevan-Meghri roadway, making the roadway closed one-way.

The rescuers together with the employees of the RCM, removed the stone from the carriageway. The traffic flow was restored.
