On September 11, at 19։13 an emergency call was received to Lori Regional Crisis Management Center that rock-fall had occurred and a tree also had been fallen making the road one-way closed on Vanadzor-Alaverdi roadway: the rescuers' help was needed.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA was dispatched to the scene.

The rescuers removed the stone (about 1 cubic meter) from the roadway and split the tree on the 12th km of Vanadzor-Alaverdi roadway: the traffic flow was restored.
