The Rescue Service informs that some roads are closed in the Republic of Armenia.

The roads leading from “Amberd” high mountain meteorological station to Lake Kari and Amberd fortress in Aragatsotn province are closed.

Dilijan pass (snow), the roadways from Jermuk crossroad to Jermuk and Sisian towns, Noyemberyan-Jujevan and Noravan-Kapan are closed for vehicles with trailers.

Vardenyats pass (fog, snow) is closed for trucks with trailers and difficult to pass for other types of vehicles.

Berd-Chambarak roadway and the sections from M-4 highway to Haghartsin and Parz lake are difficult to pass for all types of vehicles.

Black-ice is formed on the roadways of Aparan, Aragats (blizzard), Dilijan, Sevan, Chambarak, Martuni, Gavar, Abovyan, Hrazdan, Nairi, Sisian, Goris, Ashotsk and Amasia regions.

It is snowing in Aragatsotn and Lori provinces, Tigranashen pass, Baghramyan, Noyemberyan, Ijevan, Kapan, Sisian, Goris regions.

There is a blizzard in the section called Saravan-"Zanger" and Jermuk town.

We urge drivers to drive exclusively on winter tires.
