Some roads are closed in the Republic of Armenia
The Rescue Service informs that some roads are closed in the Republic of Armenia.
The roads leading from “Amberd” high mountain meteorological station to Lake Kari and Amberd fortress in Aragatsotn province are closed.
Gyumri-Ashotsk and Gyumri-Jajur roadways (blizzard) are closed for all types of vehicles.
Vardenyats Pass, the roadway leading from Yelpin to Tigranashen turns are closed for vehicles with trailer and difficult to pass for other types of vehicles.
Meghri Pass, the roadways from Jermuk intersection to Sisian-Shinuhayr-Tatev-Kapan and Noravan-Ltsen-Tatev, Spitak turns are closed for vehicles with trailer.
Talin-Mastara-Lanjik-Gyumri roadway is difficult to pass for all types of vehicles.
Dilijans turns are closed for trucks.
Black-ice is formed on the roadways of Aparan, Aragats, Artik, Jambarak, Martuni, Gavar, Abovyan, Hrazdan, Nairi, Sisian, Goris, Ashotsk and Amasia regions.
It is snowing in Meghri and Vardenyats Passes, in Dilijan town, on Berd-Jambarak roadway, in Ararat, Kotayk, Shirak and Gegharkunik provinces, in Spitak, Stepanavan, Tashir, Goris, Sisian, Meghri, Jermuk, Aragats, Aparan, Ashtarak, Noyemberyan regions.
There is blizzard on Tigranashen turns, on roadways of Aragats, Ashotsk, Amasia and Gyumri regions.
We urge drivers to drive exclusively on winter tires.
