The Rescue Service informs that some roads are closed in the Republic of Armenia.

The roads leading from “Amberd” high mountain meteorological station to Lake Kari and Amberd fortress in Aragatsotn province are closed.

Ttujur-Navur section of Chambarak-Berd highway, from Noravan crossroad to Goris, from Shinuhayr to Tatev are closed for all types of vehicles (passenger vehicles are allowed only on the Kapan-Ltsen-Noravan-Sisian-Vayots Dzor region highway).

Vardenyats pass is closed for vehicles with trailers, for others - is difficult to pass.

Tigranashen turns, Gyumri-Bavra, Gyumri-Vanadzor, Tashir-Gogavan roadways and from Ashtarak to Spitak turns are closed to vehicles with trailers, and from Jermuk crossroad to Kapan is difficult to pass.

Tashir-Blagodarnoye roadway is difficult to pass for all types of vehicles.

Black-ice is formed on the roadways of Armavir, Aragatsotn, Gegharkunik, Lori, Shirak regions, Hrazdan, Charentsavan towns and on the section called "Chayni".

It is snowing in Dilijan turns, Vayots Dzor, Ararat, Aragatsotn, Gegharkunik, Lori, Shirak regions and in Noyemberyan town.

Blizzard is observed in Gegharkunik, Lori, Syunik regions and Aragats region.

Fog is noticed in Ashtarak region.

We urge drivers to drive exclusively on winter tires.
