The Rescue Service informs that some roads are closed in the Republic of Armenia.

The road leading from “Amberd” high mountain meteorological station to Lake Kari and Amberd fortress in Aragatsotn province, Noyemberyan-Voskepar, Navur-Jambarak roadways are closed.

Meghri Pass, Ttujur-Navur, Gndevaz-Jermuk, the road section from Jermuk crossroad to Kapan roadways are closed for vehicles with trailers.

Vardenyats Pass is closed for vehicles with trailers, and difficult to pass for other types of vehicles.

Black-ice is formed on the roadways of Aparan, Aragats, Dilijan, Sevan, Chambarak, Martuni, Gavar, Abovyan, Hrazdan, Nairi, Sisian, Goris, Ashotsk and Amasia regions.

Blizzard is observed on the roadways of Artik region.

We urge drivers to drive exclusively on winter tires.
