The Rescue Service informs that some roads are closed in the Republic of Armenia.

The roads leading from “Amberd” high mountain meteorological station to Lake Kari and Amberd fortress in Aragatsotn province are closed.

Meghri Pass, Vanadzor-Dilijan roadway, the road section from Jermuk crossroad to Kapan, Lusashogh–Lanjar roadway are closed for vehicles with trailers.

Vardenyats Pass is closed for vehicles with trailers, and difficult to pass for other types of vehicles.

Black-ice is formed on the roadways of Aparan, Aragats, Dilijan, Sevan, Chambarak, Martuni, Gavar, Abovyan, Hrazdan, Nairi, Sisian, Goris, Ashotsk and Amasia regions.

Blizzard is observed on the roads of Aragats and Artik regions.

We urge drivers to drive exclusively on winter tires.
