The Rescue Service informs that some roads are closed in the Republic of Armenia.

The roads leading from “Amberd” high mountain meteorological station to Lake Kari and Amberd fortress in Aragatsotn province are closed. 

The road Berd-Chambarak (snowstorm) is closed for all types of vehicles. 

Noravan-Ltsen-Tatev roadway and Vardenyats Pass are closed for trailer trucks.

It is snowing in the Ararat province, Kotayk (exclusively from the town of Charentsavan), in Jermuk, Sisian, Kajaran, Meghri, Ashtarak regions, in the section called Saravan-"Zanger" and in Vardenyats Pass.

Black-ice is formed on roadways of Kotayk, Aragatsotn, Syunik provinces, on roadways of Artik, Kapan, Gavar, Aparan, Aragats, Nayri, Hrazdan, Tashir, Sevan, Ijevan regions and on Tigranashen turns.

We urge drivers to drive exclusively on winter tires.
