The Rescue Service informs that some roads are closed in the Republic of Armenia.

The roads leading from “Amberd” high mountain meteorological station to Lake Kari and Amberd fortress in Aragatsotn province are closed. 

The road Berd-Chambarak (snowstorm) is closed for all types of vehicles. 

The roadway from Jermuk crossroad to the section called "Zanger", Noravan-Ltsen-Tatev, Shinuhayr-Tatev-Kapan, Kajaran-Meghri, Vanadzor-Dilijan roadways and Vardenyats Pass are closed for trailer trucks.

It is snowing in Abovyan, Hrazdan, Sisian, Goris, Meghri regions.

It is a snowstorm in the section called "Meghru sar" and in Sevan-Gavar roadway.

Black-ice is formed on roadways of Artik, Ashotsk, Amasia, Kapan, Sisian, Goris, Gavar, Chambarak, Sevan, Martuni, Aparan, Aragats, Hrazdan, Nayri, Abovyan, Spitak, Vanadzor, Tumanyan, Tashir and Vayk regions.

We urge drivers to drive exclusively on winter tires.
