The Rescue Service informs that some roads are closed in the Republic of Armenia.

The roads leading from “Amberd” high mountain meteorological station to Lake Kari and Amberd fortress in Aragatsotn province, Berd-Chambarak (snowstorm), Gandzakar-Itsakar and Lanjar-Lusashogh (snowstorm) roadways are closed. 

Noravan-Ltsen-Tatev and the roadway from "Zanger" to Sisian are closed for trailer trucks.

The roadway leading from Aghvani emergency point to Tatev is closed for trucks.

Vardenyats Pass is closed for trailer trucks and difficult to pass for other types of vehicles.

Saravan-"Zanger" roadway is difficult to pass.

Vanadzor-Dilijan, Yeraskh-Zangakatun, Spitak-Gyumri and Tatev-Shinuhayr-Goris roadways are difficult to pass for trailer trucks.

Black-ice is formed on roadways of Gegharkunik province, Aparan, Aragats, Spitak, Tumanyan, Tashir, Abovyan, Hrazdan, Nairi, Vayk, Sisian, Goris, Ashotsk, Amasia and Vanadzor regions.

We urge drivers to drive exclusively on winter tires.
