The Rescue Service informs that some roads are closed in the Republic of Armenia.

The roads leading from “Amberd” high mountain meteorological station to Lake Kari and Amberd fortress in Aragatsotn province, Vardenyats Pass, Berd-Chambarak (snowstorm), Lanjar-Lusashogh (snowstorm) and Bujakan-Aragyugh roadways are closed. 

Voskepar turns are closed for trailer trucks, difficult to pass for other types of vehicles.

Noravan-Ltsen-Tatev, from "Zanger" to Sisian roadways, the section called "Meghru sar" and Dilijan turns are closed for trailer trucks.

Artik-Maralik and Artik-Pemzashen roadways  are difficult to pass.

Vanadzor-Dilijan, Yeraskh-Zangakatun, Spotak-Gyumri roadways are difficult to pass for trailer trucks.

Black-ice is formed on roadways of Aparan, Aragats, Spitak, Tumanyan, Tashir, Sevan, Chambarak, Martuni, Gavar, Abovyan, Hrazdan, Nairi, Vayk, Sisian, Goris, Ashotsk, Amasia and Vanadzor regions.

It is snowing in Kajaran Goris and Meghri regions.

We urge drivers to drive exclusively on winter tires.
