On June 23-25, a number of rescuers from the Yerevan and Aragatsotn, Armavir, Kotayk and Vayots Dzor Regional Rescue Departments of the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs participated in a training on "Organization and implementation of rescue operations at heights" organized by the Educational Complex of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The training focused on the specifics of actions at heights and the main safety requirements. The purpose was to develop the skills and level of preparedness of rescuers to conduct rescue operations at heights in an efficient, safe and organized manner, as well as to promote teamwork and cooperation.

As part of the training, rescuers studied the equipment and tools used in rescue operations at heights, rope knots, their types and meanings, during both theoretical and practical sessions.

Attention was paid to the instructions for using mountaineering equipment and tools at heights.

During practical training, rescuers conducted ascents and descents at heights using mountaineering equipment and techniques, ensuring both group and individual safety. They acquired the necessary knowledge and skills to properly, professionally and safely evacuate victims from heights with the help of mountaineering gear and methods.

Such training plays a crucial role in enhancing the professional skills of rescuers, significantly improving their ability to carry out effective and safe rescue operations at heights.
