On July 26, at 04:09 an emergency call was received to Lori Regional Crisis Management Center that in an apartment on the second floor of a building in the Engels district of Alaverdi town a balcony had collapsed. The citizen who was on the balcony fell down.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that the railing of the apartment balcony partially detached, causing the citizen who was on the balcony to fall down.

The rescuers blocked off the scene and moved the citizen to the ambulance. The casualty was hospitalized at a medical center.
