On March 16, at 11:29, an emergency call was received to Aragatsotn Regional Operative Management Center that a citizen had climbed a mountain near Yeghipatrush village and contact could not be established with him - he had presumably been caught in an avalanche.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department and the rescue group from Center for Carrying out Activities of Special Importance of the Rescue Forces Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

As a result of the search operations, rescuers recovered the dead body of the citizen who had been trapped under the avalanche.
