On January 16, at 17:44 an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that haystack had been on fire on Jalakyan Street in Kasakh village of Kotayk Province.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squads of Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

It turned out that a pile of fodder was burning under a roof next to a barn near one of the houses.

The fire was localized at 18:50 and extinguished at 19:11. About 120 bales of hay and the wooden  constructions (about 50 square meters) of the roof were burnt.
