On July 28, at 04:02 an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that in one of the hotel complexes on Hanrapetutyan Street in Yerevan city, an elevator cabin had descended and come to rest on a citizen who had been in the shaft.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that while attempting to retrieve a key that had fallen into the elevator shaft, a power fluctuation occurred, as a result the citizen became trapped under the elevator cabin.

The rescuers pulled the trapped citizen out from the entrapment and brought him to the ambulance. He was then hospitalized at a medical center.
