On February 7, at 13:21 an emergency call was received to Syunik Regional Crisis Management Center that cars had been unable to continue their journey due to black ice in the section called "Jigglesi" spring on Tatev-Aghvan roadway: a traffic jam has formed. The rescuers' help was needed.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad, one fire unit from Aghvani Emegency Bases and the operative group of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched at the scene. 

From 13:50 to February 8 at 00:05, the rescuers towed 73 stuck trucks out, which continued their journey. The rescuers alongside patrols regulated traffic, as a result 700 vehicles (283 trucks and 370 cars) that were stuck in the traffic jam continued their journey.
