On October 16, at 13:09 an emergency call was received to Syunik Regional Crisis Management Center that truck had been stuck in the drainage stream at the beginning of Verin Khotanan village.

One fire unit from the Aghvani emergency point of the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

The rescuers pulled stuck "Scania" truck (driver H. R.) out using special equipment.
