On April 19, at 19:20 an emergency call was received to Ararat Regional Crisis Management Center that stork had been stuck in metal structures (at a height of 15 meters) in Yeraskh village: the rescuers’ help was needed to pulled the bird out.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that the bird was stuck between the supporting structures of high-voltage electric wires: the power outage was needed.

The employees of the South Caucasus Railway CJSC temporarily stopped the power supply at the scene.

The rescuers pulled the stuck stork out using special equipment provided by local government representatives and moved it to a safe area.
