On October 9, at 13։09 an emergency call was received to Gegharkunik Regional Crisis Management Center that collapse had occurred during construction activity in Vaghashen village: there were casualties. The rescuers' help was needed.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

It turned out that while carrying out activity on laying a sewage pipe at the end of 23rd Street in the village, a citizen fell and got stuck in a pit of mud.

The rescuers pulled the stuck citizen out of the pit and moved him to an ambulance. The casualty was hospitalized at a medical center.
