On May 8, at 11:42 information was received to Ararat Regional Crisis Management Center that dead body was found in a canal near the cemetery in Jrashen village.

The operative group from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department and one fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

The rescuers pulled a man's dead body out of the Artashat canal.

According to preliminary data, the body found is that of a man who has been missed since April 26.
